Come to Horse Holidays on the Isle of Wight. We will arrange for you and your horse to take a week away together, using accommodation with stabling facilities attached or nearby. We organise your route from a range of rides suitable for various abilities, provide you with all the information you need, and arrange transport to and from your chosen ride.

Your holiday package with your horse starts with a
short ferry journey across the Solent to our rural retreat. Horse
ownership is very high here, probably because of the beautiful countryside
and the great facilities, so a holiday with your horse seems quite natural. Your
first and last nights are spent here with us at the farm, so we can help you find
your bearings and check your horse
is comfortable after your
journey.

route...
You choose your own kind of route –
hill-tops or woodlands, coast-lines or meadows, or historical or scenic
paths. Isle of Wight Horse Holidays will arrange a route as close as
possible to your ideal. Our map will guide you on your way – and our
notes will show you stretches where you can trot and canter safely,
stopping places to enjoy our beautiful scenery and
the many points of interest
surround you as you ride on.
Choose your
accommodation...
We have a range of Bed
& Breakfast, Farmhouse or Cottage accommodation to suit routes all
round
the Island. These lodgings are straight-forward, but you upgrade to a
luxury hotel if you wanted to - for the whole holiday or just for one night half-way through! Most horse-holidayers
are so excited about their time-out
that they don't explore the
social scene in town.
But
if you would like an occasional night out, secure in the knowledge that your horse has been
safely put to bed, we have lodgings within walking distance of restaurants
and pubs.
Choose your
activities...
You may wish for a series of local rides that return to the same accommodation each day. Or would you rather spend several days trekking across the Island with new lodgings every night? You can also add in options like dressage schooling, clear round jumping lessons or ride our local cross-country course. And you can incorporate other options such as a beach ride, a picnic, or a pre-booked lazy lunch at a mid-way venue. You could bring a pal or partner to come horse-riding with you, or they might prefer to go off exploring the Island's many adventure sports or choose quieter pastimes. Explore the Island with your horse - in whatever way you please.
